Night concert in HCM City to pay tribute to renowned composers

The concert will be organized in collaboration with the Mickiewicz Institute and the Warsaw Music Foundation – Poland. Joanna Marcinkowska, Poland’s renowned pianist, will perform alongside the Vietnamese orchestra conducted by Wojciech Czepiel. The repertoire for the concert will feature Beethoven’s Symphony No.1, Chopin’s Polish Fantasy for Piano and Orchestra, and Grieg’s Piano Concerto in A Minor. HBSO presents concert for Poland’s independence day

The Ho Chi Minh City Ballet Symphony Orchestra and Opera (HBSO), the Mickiewicz Institute, and the Warsaw Music Foundation of Poland will jointly organize the event. The concert will feature a lineup of international musical talents conducted by Wojciech Czepiel. Czepiel, a prominent Polish conductor, composer, and violinist, has conducted over 400 compositions with prestigious orchestras including the Polish National Radio Symphony in Katowice, the Moscow Bolshoi Theatre Orchestra, the National Opera in Warsaw, the Hanoi Philharmonic, and the Vietnam National Symphony and Orchestra. Notably, in 2012, he was awarded the “Gloria Artist” medal by the Polish Minister of Culture for his artistic achievements. In addition, renowned Polish pianist Joanna Marcinkowska will be performing at the event. Free Film Week for Hanoi and Da Nang Movie Buffs

There will be a number of films screened at the festival including “578”, “9”, Bright and Shiny Tan, The Girl from the Past, Just One Flea, The Sword, Street and Piano, Me and Trinh, FANTI, Peach Blossom, Hong Ha Nu Si, and The Anonymous. Hanoi’s film enthusiasts can catch these films at the National Cinema Centre, while those in Da Nang can head to the Da Nang Centre of Culture and Cinema. The 23rd Vietnam Film Festival is set to take place in Da Lat city, in the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong from November 21 to 25. The theme for the 23rd Film Festival is “Developing the Vietnamese Film Industry Imbued with National Identity, Modernity, and Humanity”. The aim is to promote the growth of the Vietnamese film industry and establish a thriving cinema industry. Vietnamese novel connects two cultures through publication in RoK

The novel was written by Phuong between 2007 and 2010 and published by the Tre (Youth) Publishing House. The publication of this work is part of a project to translate literary works selected by the Korea-Vietnam peace culture federation, which was established by Korean and Vietnamese writers and has been engaged in cultural exchange and collaboration for the past 30 years. At the launching ceremony, Bang Hyun-suk, President of the Korean Literature Association (KLA), said the novel, which was translated into English, Chinese and other languages, is the first work selected for translation and publication in the RoK. Talking to the Vietnam News Agency, Phuong, who is also Vice President of the Vietnam Writers’ Association, said he hopes that his work will help Korean readers understand more about Vietnamese culture, thus strengthening mutual understanding between the two countries. The idea of having the Friendstheme came to Afra during the period of lockdown post article 370 abrogation when she discovered the drama from her hard disk. Miss Supranational 2013 set to model at Vietnam fashion show

She is set to showcase the latest collection “Love Ardently” by designer Van Anh Scarlet during a fashion show titled “’See in The Forest”. The collection consists of 60 designs produced by 50 artisans over a two-month period. The show will feature evening gowns, designs for Fall and Winter in 2023, and wedding dresses with a message of pure love. It is scheduled to take place in a pine forest in Vinh Phuc province, not far from capital Hanoi.
