UN and India Launch Global Capacity Building Initiative

India and the United Nations (UN) have launched a joint capacity-building initiative for the Global South in New York. The initiative aims to share India’s development experiences, best practices, and expertise with partner countries in the Global South through capacity building and training programs. As part of this initiative, the UN India team and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation will partner to leverage India’s Technical and Economic Cooperation platform to share India’s development experiences and best practices across the world. Local Woman Named as Finalist at Miss International 2023 by Missosology

According to predictions, Sofía Osío from Colombia is expected to be crowned Miss International 2023, while Camila Díaz Daneri from Peru is likely to become the first runner-up. Other contestants who are expected to make the top five include representatives from Cote D’ivoire and Thailand. Phuong Nhi, a 21-year-old beauty from the central province of Thanh Hoa, stands at 1.70 metres tall and has measurements of 80-57-88. She gained recognition by winning the second runner-up title at Miss World Vietnam 2022, earning her the opportunity to compete in the 2023 Miss International pageant. The global Miss International pageant will be held in Tokyo, Japan, in October, with the final ceremony taking place on October 26. Located at an altitude of approximately 170m, Ban Ba waterfall is known as Tuyen Quang’s iconic landmark.
