Vietnam’s My Khe ranks among Asia’s 10 best beaches

It is the only beach in Vietnam to be named in the list.

My Khe Beach, nestled in Phuoc My Ward, Son Tra District, Da Nang City, is around two kilometers from the city center.

The beach, which is about 900 meters long, is among the busiest in Da Nang, Nhan Dan (People) newspaper reported.

My Khe is well known for soft white sand, little waves, and clean, warm seawater so that tourists can swim all year round.

Jonathan Chan, a U.S. traveler, wrote on Tripadvisor that My Khe is a “gorgeous beach,” adding that “the sand is soft and fine, there are plenty of seashells, gentle waves for swimming and wading, lots of spots along the way for a drink or a beach chair under the shade. Lifeguards watch the swimming areas. Great views up and down the beach.”

In 2019, Malaysian tourist Appan Majumdar left a five-star rating for My Khe Beach and a comment with over 1,200 words, saying that he wished he could have stayed there longer.

According to him, My Khe was one of the best beaches he had visited in Southeast Asia.

It was not too crowded and was controlled well and obviously splendid.

Majumdar added that the beach was so clean that tourists would not see plastic waste when they dived into the water.

Radhanagar Beach in India was voted as the best beach in Asia, followed by Kelingking in Indonesia, Benaulim in India, and Mirissa in Sri Lanka.
