Japan’s government announced on Monday that it will implement a new economic stimulus package of 108 trillion yen (approximately 1 trillion dollars) to help offset the economic effects of the coronavirus pandemic.

On Thursday, an entity will hold a ceremony in Hanoi to officially announce the rights for one or more TV stations in Vietnam to become its partners.

The 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, scheduled to take place in Australia and New Zealand from July 20 to August 20, marks Vietnam’s debut at the global association football competition.

Vietnam have been placed in Group E alongside the United States (defending champions), the Netherlands (reigning runners-up), and Portugal.

The 2023 Women’s World Cup will begin with a match between the U.S. and the host nation, New Zealand, on July 22 at 1:00 pm (local time) in Auckland.

Vietnam will face Portugal on July 27th, followed by the Netherlands on August 1st.

In thorough preparation for their tough challenges at the tourney, Vietnam regrouped at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center in Hanoi on Monday.

The women’s team is scheduled to undergo training in Germany from June 5 to 25, during which they will participate in two friendly matches, including a crucial game against the German national team on June 24.

Following their Germany trip, the team will travel to New Zealand on July 6.

They will then play two friendly matches against Spain and New Zealand in that place before officially starting their World Cup journey.
