Vietnam Embarks on Historic FIFA Women’s World Cup Adventure

According to the itinerary, the team’s flight from Hanoi was scheduled for departure at 12:35 pm.

The head coach, Mai Duc Chung, along with the players, gathered at Noi Bai International Airport at 9:00 am.

Upon arriving in Singapore, the team will have a transit period of approximately five hours before continuing their journey to Auckland.

It is expected that they will arrive in Auckland on Thursday morning (Vietnam time).

The team will conduct their final training session in New Zealand, as they prepare for their historic debut at the World Cup. This session will include two friendly matches: one against New Zealand on July 10 and another against Spain on July 14.

Vietnam is excited to announce its inaugural participation in the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup. The tournament is set to be held in Australia and New Zealand from July 20 to August 20. This marks a significant moment for the country in the global association football community.

Vietnam has been placed in Group E, joining defending champions the U.S., reigning runners-up the Netherlands, and Portugal.

The 2023 Women’s World Cup campaign of the team will commence with a match against the U.S. on July 22 in Auckland at 1:00 pm, local time.

Vietnam’s upcoming football matches are as follows: they will face Portugal in Hamilton on July 27th at 2:30 pm, and the Netherlands in Dunedin on August 1st at 2:00 pm.

Vietnamese Shooter Takes Home Gold in Asian Games in China

Huy achieved an impressive score of 240.5 points in the final, securing the top position on the podium. Lee Wonho of South Korea took silver with 239.4 points, while Vladimir Svechnikov of Uzbekistan earned bronze with 219.9 points. The final started with two five-shot series, with a 250-second limit per series. After that, the contestants fired single shots, with a 50-second limit per shot. After every two shots, the lowest-ranked shooter was eliminated. Following the 12th shot and the 14th shot, the bottom two shooters were eliminated to take eighth and seventh place, respectively. The bronze medalist was determined by the 22nd shot, and the gold and silver medalists were decided by the final, 24th shot. Huy and Lee were the last two men standing, with the Vietnamese shooter leading by 0.6 points. Lee closed the gap with the 23rd shot by hitting 10.1 points, while Huy managed 9.9 points. Vietnam-Austria concert set to fascinate Hanoi audiences

The audience will have the chance to enjoy performances staged by artists from the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra led by Japanese conductor Honna Tetsuji. Austrian artists performing at the show include violinist Rainer Honeck, operatic baritone Adrian Eröd, and soprano Marta Poliszot, all of whom are expected entertain the audience with an exciting night of classical music. Artists will present several pieces from operas “Le Nozze di Figaro” and “Don Giovanni” by Austrian composer Mozart.
