HCM City int’l music, hot air balloon festivals to take place in December

Speaking at a press conference to announce the information on November 11, Deputy Director of the municipal Department of Culture and Sports Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy affirmed that these will be the biggest cultural events in the southern hub to further speed up the development of cultural industry and stimulate local tourism. Artisans converge at the 2023 Vietnam Craft Village Conservation and Development Festival

The Vietnam Craft Village Conservation and Development Festival 2023 began on November 9 at the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long in Hanoi. It brought together over 100 artisans and skilled workers from more than 40 provinces and cities across the country. The 4-day festival consists of a festival and handicraft fair, an international workshop on the preservation and development of craft villages, and various other activities. The festival and handicraft fair have around 300 specially designed booths from 42 provinces. Hanoi’s 80 standard booths cover an area of over 2,000 m2, with the aim of showcasing Hanoi’s typical handicrafts to locals and foreigners.
